Tinder for Congress

Referandom turns the bills Congress puts to a recorded vote into short, clear cards. Swipe to vote on each bill, then see how Congress voted. You don't need to know politics to join in. Being curious is enough. Referandom is free, has no ads and takes no side: it does not support or oppose any party or candidate.

How It Works

Swipe a card to vote, then see what Congress did.

  • NAYSwipe left or press the left arrow key.
  • YEASwipe right or press the right arrow key.
  • SKIPNot sure? Skip it and the card goes to the back of the deck.

Where do the summaries come from?

  1. Written by CRS

Summaries come from the Congressional Research Service through Congress.gov. Referandom doesn't write them.

  2. No Opinions

A summary doesn't support or oppose a bill. It explains what the bill does and what it changes.

  3. Source Always at Hand

Every card links to the bill on Congress.gov, so you can read the full text yourself.

  4. Spot an Error? Tell Us

If something on a card looks wrong, write to us. We'll check it and fix it.
