Frequently Asked Questions
What is Wordgress?
Wordgress is Referandom's daily political word game. It plays like Wordle: each day you have 6 tries to guess a word from U.S. politics, either a political term or the surname of a notable political figure.
How do I play?
Type a guess with as many letters as the word and press Enter. Green means the letter is in the right spot, yellow means it is in the word but in another spot, and gray means it is not in the word. Every guess must be a valid English word.
When does the word change?
A new word arrives every day at midnight Eastern Time. Everyone gets the same word on the same day, and you can share your result without giving away the letters.
What does Insider Hint do?
When you are stuck, it gives you a short clue about the word in exchange for one guess. You can't spend your last guess on it.
How is it different from Wordle?
The words come from Congress and politics: terms like veto, quorum and filibuster, or surnames like Lincoln and Pelosi. The word can be 4 to 10 letters long, and when the game ends you get a short definition.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is completely free and no account is needed. If you sign in, your name can appear on the daily leaderboard.
