Should Congress require to link family members' NEXUS applications?

To require the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to link together applications of family members throughout the NEXUS application process, and for other purposes. (H.R. 9382)

Family members applying for NEXUS, the expedited border program between the United States and Canada, would have their applications linked, and one person could schedule interviews for all.

  • Links applications of parents, legal guardians, children, grandparents, grandchildren, and siblings living in one household
  • Lets one family member schedule NEXUS interviews for all linked family members
  • Allows joint interviews for linked family members
